Here's a small (or big?) hint:

If it weren't for this thread, I almost certainly wouldn't have tried this beer or any of this brewery's sours.

P.S. it was verrrry delicious. Bought it at The Willows in Menlo Park when I was up in the Bay Area for Thanksgiving. My dad liked it too, having never had a sour before (I think it's because I adequately prepared him; serving in wine glasses also helps the uninitiated because they expect something more wine-like than IPA-like)

Nice! I've got one sitting in the fridge. I'll post after I get back from work.

Well this may go quicker than anticipated. It is cellarmaker. And it is a stout/Porter. But not Blammo.

Haven't gotten to try Cellarmaker but a friend of mine is always raving about it. I'll have to check it out when I'm up in the BA again for the holidays. It was the "you probably can't get it" bit that tipped me off.

1. Guess: Cellarmaker Coffee and Cigarettes
2. Question (if I'm wrong): Is it a stout specifically?

Yup it's coffee and cigarettes. Super good. Definitely need to go if you're in the area. They're constantly changing what they brew, but coffee and cigarettes is becoming a mainstay. You're up!

So I'm going to ask, is it from The Bruery? (I think when you said Sour in the Rye was close, a few of us made that assumption)
