You can probably now figure out what was in the barrel (if not liquor)
Match that up with the color of the beer.
Do a couple of google searches for what you now know is a specific type of the thing that was in the beer. There are only a few distinct varietals of that. If you guess the right one, Google will tell you the specific beer (which is a better bet than guessing the style because it's at the same time very specific and very vague)
P.S. - drinking a Temptation last week is not one of my many regrets. That beer was awesome and if I could drink it every day I would be that much happier. LHBS has a reward program, and I earned $25 credit which got me an $11 RR temptation (last one they had in stock basically forever) and a $13 replacement pressure gauge. Best $0 I ever spent.
Also, as another big hint, this one is not a "specialty" beer -- i.e. it isn't a limited release, high abv, wacky-ingredient oriented brew. It's one of Chicago's mainstays, available all year round, and it comes in a can.
Sorry lads. I "MUST" open this one with the lady. She kinda picked it out. She is pooped tonight but promises to open it tomorrow. If someone else wants it, be my guest. If not, I'll post it tomorrow afternoon.
