Nope it is an ale.

No sir not a pumpkin ale or lager but it is definitely an ale.

So we have the following:

An ale
Seasonal beer style
And the flavor of this particular beer is not typical of the style.

New clue. This beer has no adjuncts that im aware of and this is also not usual for the style.

Christmas Spice Ale

Ill take it. Its a winter warmer but ive read they usually fall under the christmas ale or winter specialty beer. Even though as i just read if they arent spiced, they should be categorized as old ales. Nice job renegades youre up!

The funny thing is I was thinking right after I posted that "I should have said winter warmer"

You will have to wait till tonight when I get home to post a new beer.

Russian River Supplication.

Sour brown aged in Pinot Noir barrels with sour cherries. Adjuncts are pinot noir, oak, and sour cherries.

Is it a beer worthy of a fate better than being served in a miller lite glass? ;)

I was going to guess NG Serendipity, sour ale with cherries, cranberries and apples. But I think cranberries are smaller than cherries.(?)

Boom!

I meant in quantities used in the recipe not size of fruit. And I normally would have had it in my tall new glarus glass. But didn't want to give it away.

Haha, yeah the NG glass would've been a definite giveaway. I have a bottle of that in the beer fridge. I need to open it soon. I've been dying to try it.

Hint, it's not a beer from Vivant.
