tight connection

I've been kegging for the last 12 months and I'm having a problem with my keg. The beer line (out) is extremely hard to connect to the keg. Once it's on, no leaks though but after a couple of months, I'm seeing some wear on the ring , propably caused by the tighness of the connecter. Anything I could do with that ball lock ? The co2 side is just perfect, only the beer side

I had that problem. In my case, the poppet was not a correct match with the post. If you have a brew store in your area, just take it in and they likely have spare parts laying around that they could try for a better fit.

If it's wearing on the ring, it's probably not a problem with the poppet.

Are you using keg lube on that o-ring? That can help a lot. If the ring looks worn, replace it ASAP. Might want to get a bunch them to keep around.

I replaced the oring already, almost brand new and I use lots of lube too otherwise it's almost impossible to install the beer line. What is the poppet ?

I use pin lock kegs, so I don't know a lot about the ball lock kegs. I've heard that you can put the liquid fitting on the gas post, but it is super tight. Are you sure you don't have two gas fittings on the keg? Just a thought.
