I need to locate some adapters to convert the male part of a 5/16 flare swivel nut fitting to a 1/4" female pipe thread. I have finally located several options that i think i can make. However I don't know what type of flare fitting I have, is it 37 degree or 45 degree? It is appears to be a typical smwivel nut fitting. Anyone able to help? Thanks.

I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to gas but, from what I read, we don't know what you have either. Maybe a little more info?

let me simplify. does anyone know if the MFL connections on typical CO2 manifolds is a 45 degree or 37 degree flare. When I look for connectors any place other than brewing sites, the flare connectors are described as either 37 or 45 degree. Thanks.

45-degree is the most common angle for flare fittings, 37-degree is used on military and aircraft, industrial hydraulics and occasionally on modified cars.

anything you find at home depot will be 45-degree.
