Alright, getting ready to brew this batch this weekend! It's been a long time coming. I'm harvesting my home grown Cascades this weekend. Do you guys think that adding 1oz of dried, whole hop cones to the dry hop would be a good addition to this beer or do you think it would take away from it? I'm also wondering about splitting up the times of the dry hop. Maybe do the Simcoe dry hop 5 days into fermentation, let that go for 3-5 days, then do the Cascade dry hop... Not entirely sure.
Additionally, I'm not planning on secondary with this, even though the recipe says to do so. Would you agree?
Lastly, if I can do a full boil with this, would you still do half extract at start of boil and then a late extract addition 15 mins before end of boil with the rest? Or does it not matter now with a full boil?
