I was thinking about a blueberry blonde ale next, and was reading some threads that mentioned to be careful of the wild yeast in/on the blueberries and it got me thinking..

What if I just dumped the wort on top of a whole ton (not literally) of fresh blueberries (clearly would want organic non-pesticided blueberries) and just let 'er rip?

You could do that, but the question will be... What yeast will ferment the beer, and more importantly, will you actually LIKE the yeast that does the job?

Myself, I'd try it on a smaller scale, say 1/2 or 1-gallon.

I've got a smaller 3gallonish carboy somewhere. could syphon off the first gallon or so into there. could be an interesting experiment/comparison.
