This is my first ever attempt at my own recipe. I was looking to do an APA with a good malt backbone for balance.

I ordered the ingredients today and should be brewing it by this weekend - we'll see what happens.

The Grains
8lbs Optic Pale Malt
3lbs Vienna Malt
1.5 lbs Caramel Munich
8 oz 2 row Carmel 60

The Hops
1oz Magnum - 60 mins - very clean bittering hop
0.5oz Summit - 20 mins - bittering/aroma hop - strong citrus notes
0.5oz Summit - 10 mins
0.5oz Cascade - 5 mins - Aroma hop - strong citrus notes
0.5oz Cascade - flameout

Safale US-05 yeast

Estimated ABV: 7.21%

Mash in - 4.32gal of water @ 170 --- 154 60mins
Mash Out - 4.73 of water @ 198.5 ---168 10mins

Thanks for your input Yooper you were part of the inspiration behind my recipe.

So you think I should back off the Munich down to 8oz or so?
