Happy Holidays!

Anyone have experience with thermometers from thermoworks other then the thermapens?

Specifically looking at this 12" probe for a mash tun:

Thanks in advance!

A little slower than some of the other Thermoworks, but accurate and the long stem does a great job of checking for mash for stratification.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick feedback. Great to see no issues with being submerged and quality is as good as the pens.

Thanks again!

that's the same one I bought for my son and also myself...a small hole in my kettle lid and it has been working great for maybe 30 batches so far... I even dropped it in during a boil once... for maybe 20 seconds... it never went off or quit working!

Thermoworks will be sending me a MK4 soon with their new sale. I should have bought it on Black Friday. I will use it for brewing and BBQing after seeing one used once. A waterproof thermometer would have saved me $40 already.
