Thermometer for cheese making?

Does anyone have any recommendation for a good (but inexpensive ) thermometer? I have been using a Taylor thermometer but it would be really good if I could find one that signaled me both when the temperature rises above the temperature I am looking for and when it drops below a level I set. (I suppose I could use my Inkbird but it would be better if I had something that was battery operated). Thanks

I bought this digital thermometer / timer intended for using with a barbeque quite cheaply on Ebay. It alerts you when the temp is reached. It also has a good timer function.
