I'm holding the brochure for The Valley Mill in my hand. I bought my Valley Mill in October 1997. The mill also came with 3 photo copied pages "Valley Mill Instructions".
Info from the brochure:
"Roller Adjustment: Indexed adjustment in seven increments from approx. .015" to .070"
Info from Valley Mill Instructions:
"There are seven roller adjustment settings selected by pulling outward on the knob and turning it until the indicator pin on the knob is at the desired setting. Fixed marks on the block behind the adjusting knob are arranged so that the uppermost mark is at the closest or fine crush position and the lowermost mark is at the widest or coarse setting. (There are no settings above or below the indicator marks.)"
