that is def true, and when the easy tiger location around hancock opens ill be able to start accruing points again. if only i lived back in N austin lol
This is literally across the street from where I work, so I might see you there, lol.

It's not in Hancock tho... it's in "The Linc", which is a kinda ****** strip mall that's getting a big renovation currently, at the intersection of I-35/290E. Near Highland Mall/Specs Airport.

Oh yeah thats right, forgot it was near highland mall. Its actually damn close to where i work on huntland ave.....of course this changes in a few weeks as we had a reorg and i could choose bastrop garage to work out of, either way it wouldnt have mattered as i have to drive a company truck to and fro.

Greetings Cowboys and Texans Fans,

I'm making a trip to El-Paso next week 9/26-9/28. Looking to do an IP. Not sure what's great down there, I like pretty much everything. Willing to bring Ohio's finest - especially some BB Jackie O's. Hit me up if interested in a trade.

I have never heard El Paso and Craft Beer in the same sentence. Not that it doesn't exist...I just don't know. I hope you find someone in EP with a thirst for awesome Jackie O's.

You'd do much better trading meth in El Paso.

Not sure if you are making regular trips down to El Paso or if this is a one time thing, but I will be there in early March for a few days and can bring some bottles to open. To echo what everyone else said, it is pretty much a beer wasteland. There is a Hoppy Monk there (beer bar, great draft selection, good food) but I have never been to that location, I just know it exists. I enjoy the location in San Antonio.

La Cumbre is only 4 hours away though...

Anyone in Austin heading to Jester King today? Think I'm heading over at open to slurp that Aurelian draught.

anyone know if theres a date on karbachs BBH? Not that it matters taste wise (unless they stored it slopilly of course) but im just curious because i had about 6+ bottles from my local HEB WAAAAY before i found the ones i got here from Specs here in bastrop. (and some more DR 16 woot!)

I don't remember seeing a date on any of my bottles, but I think there may be a release year along the upper ring of the main label. I could be making that up.

Anymore word on Cantillon in Houston?

I wanna say the 1st or that following Monday. Can't remember what Brandon told me. I'll text him to confirm. But he'll most likely be the only person selling bottles (and holding a few back for regulars of course) when they come in. I'm sure other places will hold them for a later date.

Heading to North Dallas this weekend (no, not for OU/Texas cuz I couldn't care less about any of that) - is BA Legion around at all? I have no idea how often it's released (or if it has been lately), but I love the reg and have never had the BA, so hoping to pick some up.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it on shelves in some of the less-frequented beer stores. Specs' site says the Addison and one of the Dallas stores have limited availability and the Granbury store has some in stock (I'd call before heading to any of them). It might be easier for you to setup an IP trade though.

Drinking a St. Arnold Bishop's Barrel 15, surprised by how red it is. Barrel character is light, but present, barelywine is on the sweet side, some bitterness, but def a malty beer. This has to be back blended, not bad for $7.50 and will probably pick a few more up for future verticals, but it's ok.

Hoping Brash comes in with a better overall product.

Really? It was on Backwoods/Sucaba level to me. Thought it was really good. You really don't seem to like Texas much....

Haven't had much Backwoods, and I'd agree with Sucaba, and it's cheaper so bonus. For aging purposes I would have liked a little more barrel character and a bit more complexity in the body. For the FW beers, I think Sucaba is one of their weaker options. Just one opinion.

I'm an Aggie, so little history there with Texas. We could talk college sports, but in reading Shaggy, seems like everyone is turning on Chuck. But don't get me wrong, Texas has issues with the football team but it's not even in the same Category as Baylor Bad...

Brash was fun, hot but not miserable. They were kicking through their guest speciality kegs pretty quick, not sure if they were sitting on options for the evening. Raspberry as **** was damn tasty, Hammer Smashed Face was great and it'll age well. Good times!

It was not back blended. 100% barrel aged. 9 months.
