Ive got a couple tickets for the Saint Arnolds tasting at noon on Sunday. Discounted, if anyone is interested.

This is my same user name on BA, where I have feedback/history.

Still have a couple of tickets for the Sunday noon tasting. Cheap or maybe trade for a couple Bishop Barrels?

the saint arnold 21st anniversary tasting snifters are win!
Were you at the 2nd session??? I missed you somehow. Might have been because my buddy and I raced through half the card within the first 30 minutes of open, and managed to get the entire card punched by 6:15PM

Sweet. Hopefully soon. I'm trying to get back into shape and see about getting my job back with the popo so the next few weeks will be crazy for me.

good onto you, man!
Thanks. Cutting back on beer is tough when you have a closet full of delicious Jester King staring you in the face :(

I would totally go shooting with you too when I get this whole BCM AR-15 mess sorted out. If you see any cheap, reliable, stripped uppers, let me know. I have a feeling BCM will screw me

Keep an eye out on dsgarms. They have decent sales every other week or so.

I went over to BA to check my PMs... and I can't believe the discussion about the whining of the Petrol Station in the Southwest form.

"Waaaah, our keg deposit price went up on ABI kegs by $10!" Waaaah!

Honestly, who cares? How many kegs do these guys have on hand at any given time? Let's say they have 150 kegs on-hand between deliveries and 50 of them are ABI kegs (that's grossly overestimating I'm guessing). That's a $500.00 one-time "expense" that will ebb and flow as you lose and gain kegs through the distro.

I honestly don't even look at this stuff very often but looking at our keg deposits from Brown (Bud Distro here in Austin), we pay $30.00 for Independence Brewing, $50.00 for Karbach... and from Capital Wright, $30.00 for Thirsty Goat and $30.00 for Dos Equis.

The **** Karbach? lol.

It's either Live Oak or 512 that also charges us $50 on the deposit. And seriously, $10 more on a deposit shouldn't make you bat an eye if you're running even a slightly successful bar/restaurant.

The big thing that gets me is that it's a ONE TIME expense and they answer with screaming "we're boycotting!"

Learn to budget for increases in costs of doing business, damnit.

******* Houston, man. lol.

Plus...

IT'S A DEPOSIT! You know, as in you get it back when you successfully return the item. Said returning should be much easier for a bar than a retailer.

Get a grip, people. It's an open market, not UNICEF.

Three bars are boycotting and two of them still ordered BB10 from the same distributor they're 'boycotting.'

Looking at just under two months till I'm in DFW for good. Putting out some resumes and getting ready to get back in to school. I plan on spending my first week in a drunken stupor as I go from brewery to brewery to bar to bar trying to find a favorite spot. My wife used to live a 4 minute drive from Ron's Corner Tavern in Bedford, if any of yall have ever been there, and I dug it a good deal.

Slightly spammy post follows:

David Walker will be at Central Market Westgate on Tuesday 6-16 at 530. He will sign bottles of Stickee Monkee then will be in the cafe for draft flights of Parabola, Double DBA and Stickee Monkee. In addition there is a food pairing that will go with the flight and be pretty bad ass.

Cheers.

Ha. I just had a signed bottle of Sucaba the other day.

Endorsement: signed bottles of Firestone Walker barrel-aged beers have an extra hint of rare and don't oxydize as quickly (this was a 2013 bottle and tasted like a daisy).

I'll try to make it, but work has been hectic. Ugh.

I just wanted somewhere to post this.

That's pretty badass.

This is still my favorite
