I'm musing over placing a mail order since they ship. I'll split an order if anyone in houston is interested.

Meridian Hive's draft mead is actually carbonated, lighter bodied, and around 7%. They do make still mead, but I think that's just bottled and only at the Farmer's market.

Very easy drinkin'... picked up the Blackberry at the Farmer's market and my wife was a very happy girl.

Oh thats a different story then, crushable growlers of mead sounds amazing.

open it, drink what you want, reseal it. if it's still it matters not at all. most meads ill open and drink over the course of a week or so, and don't really notice much difference. i think it's been talked about a lot in the schramms ama thread.

I had a nice laugh this morning... I check the TABC Delinquent List every morning (to make sure our bar ain't on it) and Wagnor Brothers is delinquent with their liquor/beer bills...

Lutter, the main Specs on 75 should have plenty of Mole Temptress. I saw BA Legion and BA Inspiration around too. I picked up a crowler of Community Brett's Get it On at Whole Foods Park Ln. Might be gone but might also be around somewhere else. Also got to drink Collective Project Petite Golden Sour at LUCK which was fairly good but very sour. For sure you gotta try the Blood & Honey beer ice cream at LUCK if you're able to stop by.

HEB at 1604 and Blanco (right near Freetail) always seems to have good **** when I go there if you're gonna be in that area anyways.

If you're going to Jester King, want a scenic drive, and can spare at extra 30-45 mins on the trip out there, I highly suggest taking 281 to 290 to Jester King. Always enjoyed coming to Austin that way when I lived in SA.
