Explain?Holy crap Spec's sucks.
Disappointing to see so much beer stored warm and very old dates on beer, still being stored warm. DIPA with a 9/2014 date should be returned to the distributor.Explain?
Oh... Ya you definitely need to check dates there. The warm thing I can get over just because of how much beer they have. Would be pretty difficult to store all of that cold.Disappointing to see so much beer stored warm and very old dates on beer, still being stored warm. You should see the Specs here in Laredo. 09/2014 is a freshie.Maybe, they could dump a lot of crappy beer/wine coolers. Buy more merchandisers and they'd be good. Store excess in a cold room in the back. Just frustrating to see something I want to try and it was packaged anywhere from 6 to 18 months ago. For some styles that's not an issue but others...blows.
I do like they have single bottles, easy way to try a lot without having to buy a sixpack.
I'm pretty sure you've purchased 50% of all the abyss in TexasYeah but.....but....ABYSS!!

march 14th? oddly enough i plan to be in town that day.Anyone from Austin or the surrounding area planning to hit circle's 4th anniversary party on the 14th? I will most likely be there with my pops. Hopefully the glass this year can fit adult male fingers in the handle.
Yes, March 14th.march 14th? oddly enough i plan to be in town that day.
Coming in for SXSW?march 14th? oddly enough i plan to be in town that day.
Nope. I don't do music festivals or concerts.Coming in for SXSW?
As long as hippies, hipsters and weirdos keep a 500 foot radius away from me, I will live.Well then be forwarned that March 14 is right in the midst of SXSW and the city will be a zoo. If you are in town tho, hit me up. I have 6 growlers of Hill Farmstead and a few dozen heady that needs to be consumed in the next 2-3 weeks.
typed something that was funny in my head, but didnt come out as good here.
so im just gonna post this.

Kidding.
I am not a fan of their food at Small Brewpub but maybe it's gotten better over the last couple months. You mentioned the FT33 background, and knowing that set high expectations for the charcuterie plate which ended up being a huge letdown considering it was something pricy like $22.It seems like most people here are from Austin or Houston, but Dallasites should check out Small Brewpub. Legitimately good and creative brewpub food that is like modern takes on typical bar food (the chef used to be a sous chef at FT33 I believe). I'm still dreaming of those fried mushrooms, "gnocchi" with roasted root vegetables, and charcuterie. They're making a few interesting and well crafted beers; I could drink tons of that Wild Pale (a tart brett barrel aged pale ale similar in style to E.). Really good cocktails and a good selection of guest drafts too. Highly recommended for anyone in or visiting Dallas. So glad my buddy took me there when I was visiting last weekend.

Has AB Noir hit Houston yet?
