I think you were censored there! I just hope it wasn't you know who!

The more the merrier man!

Kmello do you wax everything you buy man? I swear you must be spending an assload of money on wax on a weekly basis!

Unless I'm drinking it real soon, yes. Wax is cheap, bro. $13 for a pound of wax beads at Austin Homebrew, and I can double dip 100+ bottles from that. I think I've only bought 3 bags in the last year.

Only recently realized I should keep the wax when I open bottles, to re-melt and use again. Recycling!

How many times do you normally dip a bottle in there? I find myself dipping like at least 6 times to ensure I can't see the cap anymore.

Wax Paranoia...

1 dip, roll it to smooth out the wax, then let it sit a few minutes. Repeat a second time. Thats it. Wax is pretty thin and see through when its hot, so you have to let it cool some to see how its really gonna look.

I'm going to have to do this next time I wax some bottles (FBS I'm looking at you).

How long are you planning on cellaring most of your stuff?

Like I said, I wax pretty much everything, unless I'm drinking it in the next few weeks. So some waxed stuff isnt getting "cellared" at all - FBS will be in my belly before it has much of a chance to age, but I still waxed them (partly to make sure there are no cap issues/oxidization). Other stuff will sit for years - working on verticals of Bigfoot and other beers. But most of my stuff is meant to be consumed, and sooner rather than later.

So I just did a trade for Bomb!, did I mess up by not waiting for it to hit Texas (more importantly Houston)?

Any ideas on when it is hitting distro here again?

Not sure how I missed this thread and didn't get the notification. However, I will not be attending F&S due to work, and I'll miss La Muerta due to it being the same weekend as opening weekend for deer hunting. That and I may have to work so I may be missing both anyways.

This is on the other site, but I know some people aren't on the other site so I thought I would share. We definitely need to get more members over to this site as well. Maybe a conversation with select members to inform them of this site. I would love to see this place get a dedicated SW section, instead of a regional section where they are all mixed together.

What are you doing on this Friday night? Well, our bottling line guys are hard at work packaging Bishop's Barrel 5 - Wee Heavy aged in bourbon barrels. They're doing it just for you!

You'll be banned if you mention TalkBeer.com in a BM on BA. Just FYI... Tawd reads that crap.

Deer hunting? You got a lease? I usually head down south to Uvalde where my fam lives... but our general rule is first frost.

I'm not surprised to hear that they read the Private Messages. I tried posting it in a facebook group, but not sure how many people decided to make the change.

Yes, I have a deer lease. My family owns 175 acres just north of Huntsville Texas. It isn't much compared to some of these 1000+ acres ranches, but we enjoy the hell out of it. It's nice to get away sometimes.

FTFY

In case you don't know, just click on the SW tag next to thread titles to make the SW forum.
I'd like separate sections too, but also the whole mixed regional area with tags as an option. Like at the top of a list of regional sub-forums, have a What's Current in All Regions link.

Thanks for the heads up. I was already aware of this little trick, but it's good to post it up in case any new people didn't know about it.

I like the changes you made, but I'm already married so the only milf hunting I'm doing is to the one I'm married to.
