one would have thought the darkness basket and crotch basket pour would have gotten across that it was done in a less than serious manner, apart from a single bottle that started it.

fully grown ass men with a sense of humor and the presence of mind to be able to self-deprecatingly make fun of a culture we're participating in and perpetuating at the same time. austin. san antionio.

Come on, I seriously didn't think people put their beer bottles in a basket to pour them.

Well, actual fully grown men anyway, Lol
I brought the basket as a joke. And we clearly had fun with it.

God bless you boogercrack for the Viggy. My favorite :D

Anyone going to the Sputnik release party on Sunday at ABW? It's from 12-4pm and I fully plan on dragging my parents out there (who are in town for the weekend).

If anyone is having a share this weekend, I'll make it rain beer to get my dad in, heh. LMK.

If it's small i'm not interested

Best citrusy hop bomb that I can find locally in Texas?

Best coffee-beer that's available to buy? (am not a fan of Real Ale Coffee Porter)

Find locally or made locally? If just find then I'd say Sculpin and FBS. If made locally maybe Yellow Rose and Rocket Fuel? YR isn't as big of a citrus bomb to me as Sculpin though.

Double Jack and Sculpin...as for the coffeee, yeah Rocket Fuel or FBS. Or Victory at Sea but that's also Vanilla

Sculpin and FBS are immediately what came to mind for me as well. Santa Fe Java Stout is pretty good for an easy to find coffee in a can.

Rocket fuel isn't bottled as far as I know.

find locally. I can't find yellow rose at my local specs.

I'll have to revisit Santa fe Java. I am pretty sure I liked it a lot.

Find some Victory Hop Ranch. This year's batch landed today. So. Freaking. Juicy. Also, 32oz Sucks should be around.

For coffee, have you tried Stone Xocoveza Mocha Stout yet?

That's awesome. Next the breweries need to be able to sell growlers and bottles direct out of the tasting room...sales and maximizing profits will ensue and more breweries will open.
Well... they can if they sell under 10,000 bbl and classify themselves as a "brewpub", that's how Freetail and Jester King do direct sale.
