A buddy of mine talked to someone at Whole Foods yesterday and they still don't know the details or aren't releasing them. I'll start calling them next week because I'm curious what time they'll begin the sale. Legally they can start at 7am.

Dope. If I see Caroline around I'll ask her. I have a snifter courtesy of a generous trading partner but I wouldn't mind another.

If anything I really want that Los Inmortales coffee. Intelligentsia makes some of my favorite coffee and it's just so expensive to have it shipped here. La Tortuga was great.

Specs downtown Houston is certain they will be releasing it on Black Friday as well...

I know they were not mentioned in the press release, but they seem confident they will have it ready for sale that day.

This is definitely good news. I have heard other reports that Joey said he was getting it, so hopefully this is true. I'm not even going to lie, if Joey gets it I will be there waiting in line.

Mine still has a San Antonio address as well. I havent changed it over because only US citzens get to change their address online. Not worth waiting in line for that bull **** and I've still got a year and a half before it expires!

I hope that DT Specs does have a Black Friday release. Will keep the Austin one low key.

If it makes a difference, Joey told me this less than a week ago. And it was reiterated by another Spec's employee several times since.

Even after bringing up this fact that Austin was the only announced Texas city, he still said he would have it.

Hope he's certain though... would hate for him to change this last minute.

(There will also be other beers released on black Friday as well).

They're at Black Star right now.
I could've talked to them at DH but I didn't want to put a damper on their take on DH. I'd hate for their review to be 'DH: good beer, bad crowd'. Like it or not, they have some amount of power in the beer world.
Or I'm a pussy.
One of them seemed a little let down I ignored them when I walked in.

BCBS and variants are coming to Houston on Black Friday, delivery should occur to specs downtown on Wednesday for Friday morning launch.
