When I asked what's up in SD and arren asked if I was around Saturday, he should have been commenting on bacon n eggs cans. Fomo.

Been asking my local Bevmo in Mira Mesa for weeks now and they didn’t get anything.

The Mira Mesa Bevmo is frequently one of the shittier ones in the area - not only do they not know beer, but they just don't get in very good stock either.

I called three Bevmos over the weekend and they all said their distro would be getting it on Monday, so expect it Tuesday or Wednesday.

When the Mira Mesa BevMo manager told me specifically to "go next door, that guy gets almost everything" when it was just for Helldorado I lost all faith in them. Plaza gets everything I need but when I need bulk I just goto the BevMo in Carmel Mountain.

Plaza got in Sucaba two days ago. Bevmo Carmel Mountain got some in yesterday.

If by vultures you mean vulture (singular) since my buddy did in fact buy the entire case when he saw it. He then resold, at cost, to all of us since we either couldn't get out of work or were working pretty much out of town. Thankfully his job took him that way that day.

A limit was imposed shortly after he bought the case. They must have had 2 or 1.5 or something. The manager did not tell the employees and an employee typically won't stop someone when they weren't instructed to impose a limit. Because they were selling stuff...likely with their name tagged to the sale in order to earn magical points for "highest sales total for the month" or whatever. I have no idea if BevMo has this, but I can tell you that CircuitCity did when I worked for them many many many many years ago. #summerjob

Just picked up two Sucabas at Carmel Mountain, ezpz. There were 6 left on the shelf.

I heard from them it was a 1 bottle limit. Even if it were 2, I don’t feel like fighting through traffic for it. Ended up getting some from Plaza & SD Wine, so I’m not suffering too badly. I just miss the days where I felt we were swimming in it. Now, most places are getting 1 or a few cases and imposing 1 bottle limits.
