All day saturday? Thinking that if my tentative appointment on saturday doesn't happen (really hoping it doesn't) then I'll take the better half to Hamilton's. She has still never been despite us being at SPB for that anniversary dinner/beer pairing not all that long ago. Figure there and then make the incredibly long journey to SPB.
Any of you fools have suggestions on a great bar/restaurant for a decently intimate date night that's more focused on spending time together than eating or drinking?
I'm thinking Tiger Tiger maybe and bringing board games, or NPBC for the shuffleboard (and bringing board games), but these are mostly half-baked ideas.
Check out Trust in Hillcrest. I've also heard nothing but amazing things about Cueva Bar but still have not checked it out, hoping to in the very near future. Both are kind of "longer" meals where you can get a course/plate at a time and try lots of different things.Any of you fools have suggestions on a great bar/restaurant for a decently intimate date night that's more focused on spending time together than eating or drinking?

Trust is too fancy for SO. Also, we wanted something less focused on the culinary experience, and more on us. That's why I'm thinking a more down to earth experience like at a bar or whatever.Check out Trust in Hillcrest. Also, make syrup. More consistent than cubes. I keep a 2:1 simple (made with white sugar) and a 1:1 demerara.#talkcocktails

And if so, how much volume added? Guessing it probably saves on time since dissolving the sugar cube in bitters takes some stirring.
