Thankfully they were only serving it in 12oz glasses.

How about that vanilla knee quiver though? I saw it on the Stone anniversary list and figured it was a denmark mikkeller beer and kinda wrote it off in my head. Saw it was on draft, and apparently been on draft for a bit.

That tapped when I went back up for a second round of it last night. Coffee was not super pronounced in it like many other ba coffee stouts. I am wondering if it is still sitting on coffee until their stout day? I sorta hope so. I liked the blend, I am also fan of both rum and ba shakes. Between these and traeblod, I am starting to enjoy the pastry stouts they are producing.

I believe it is a GF batch. However, it's in line with their last batch which was very solid (the finish doesn't have the softness of OG Nelson). I filled a couple growlers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Last one was money for sure. Can't wait for it to return to packaging.

Anyone have any details on the *Nelson on draft up the hill?
A few years ago Green Flash bought Alpine Beer Co. Sometimes Nelson is brewed at Alpine and most times at Green Flash. Many people complain that the recipie didnt translate well when it was scaled up at Green Flash. Every once in a while people will concede the GF stuff is passable. Some people will claim there is easier better beer available without going up the hill.

And lots of Memberberries.

Do I have this right?

Add in the asterisk and it's perfect.

All great choices but as for the qualifier "better",

Sorry, I just can't agree. If it were the OG, real **** Nelson? Yeah, absolutely. But the current version is just a middling attempt at what used to be a god tier beer.

BTW, NPBC is putting their entire anniversary IPA list on... and it's only $5 for a full (.4L) pour.
Time for some Monday drinking, me thinks
