They didn't want your expensive ass American beer Greg. Why they, when delicious lagers are cheap and plentiful.

HUBRIS.
Speaking of which, Bottlecraft has Rothaus Pils in stock. I guess there's some history behind it that I'm fuzzy on, but it might legitimately be the best pilsner I've ever had.

I checked Liberty Station prices and saw everything is a minimum $7.50 a pint with a milk stout being $9 a pint. Are those normal prices around town? I have essentially stopped going out but that seems super high.

The beer in Berlin isn't as good as the south of the country. Most of the lagers I had on my trip were nothing to seek out.

Pretty much if you are at a restaurant.

Unfortunately yes. The era of the $6 pint is all but over. It's gotten to the point where I had a $9 Aurora Hoppyalis at Disneyland and thought, "wow, that's actually not that expensive."

I hate that I liked that but it is the truth. If you're in Canada de San Diego the Crack Shack has a crazy good happy hour. $3 off all beers. I spent $3 on a burgeon pils this past week. I might be spending more time there.

I tend to stumble to Modern Times then home. Drinking great beer is at an all time awesomeness.

FarWest has been a tight addition to my North County loops. Pizza Port Solana has zero chill anymore with my little side alley stash spot that i use for like 10 minutes. Stopped dropping in there :(. Can't wait for Eppig's new spot. Ride right by it 3-4 times a week.

Damn, you didn't get one stolen did you? There's a special place in hell for all the damn bike thieves in this city.

Petco park tips? If I go to a afternoon game, I am probably going to be sitting in the sun regardless? Are there parts of the park (where beer vendors might be?) that I need a seat in a certain section to access? Particular beer vendors / deals worth knowing about? Best pre-game spots? Sorry I am sure some of this has been asked before.

Nah, they put up a sign on that gate saying "No Bike Parking." I thought it meant don't lean bikes up against that gate since it swings outward. Preston showed me that little side alley spot when I was riding with him one day back when worked there. Twice in as many visits after parking it there and coming back out, some kid comes up to me and says, "Excuse me sir what are you doing. You are trespassing. Get your bike out of there." Ok guy, I'll be on my way. I get that if that becomes a trending thing and people left their bikes there for hours on end getting on the way with the trash, its no bueno. Like I said, zero chill.

We need to be drinking at eppig together once it opens. It will very easily "be on my way home". Let me know next time you swing by far west lounge I will cruise by.

Left side (third base, left field) best bet for shade, as that's the west side of the park. Beer vendors all around, you'll enjoy walking around the park.
