What did the set cost?
I think mug + draft pour + coffee was $25 as arren said, and a set with a six pack was $40. The packages were definitely a good deal, although Pizza Port pretty much always hits the mark on value.

Think it's best batch yet.
If it's not, it's damn close, I'm definitely looking forward to working my way through a few six packs. I'm still hoping for another canned batch of Dusk Til Dawn later in the year but B&E is hard to beat.

Good seeing pugsandsuds at PPOB!

Ah damn, I didn't see the set with a six-pack deal - I don't need any more coffee, but was curious enough about it to contemplate an impulse purchase.

Yes, I had it at the League preview tasting. Way to dry for my tastebuds, but I skew towards the sweeter side of things.

That is exactly why I enjoyed it - I skew far from the sweeter end of the spectrum with ciders. Glad I got a few bottles, as I thought this would last long enough to grab any additional I wanted in person.

I didn't make it out to any PP location, but on the plus side, it turns out our water heater and been very slowly leaking for the past couple weeks, and in moving things around in our garage to dry out the water (ran along the wall, only noticed when it finally made it to the 'end' near the door and started to pool) I found a 6-pack of 2017 Bacon & Eggs that had someone gotten shoved to the back of a cabinet with various other canned drinks. Curious to crack one and see how it's held up.

Downside to all of that was having to call for an emergency water heater replacement, haha.

Did a side by side. '18 I enjoy more as it was a little less bitter than '17 but wow was '17 awesome. It held up. Pizza Port knocking it out of the park 2 years in a row.

If it is the one 8 brought it was 2018 and 2019, and I kept 2018 in the fridge. Let us know how the 2017 garage stored Bacon and eggs taste jwacky.

LOL, will do. FWIW it stays very cool in the garage and was deep in a cabinet. Definitely not concerned about temp swings or anything. Must've just thought it was soda or something from the silver can when I was cleaning up? I have no idea. We shall see.

Eppig is coming to Canada: https://westcoastersd.com/2019/01/16/eppig-brewing-moving-operation-to-vista/

That's closer to where I work than the NP location is to where I live. Going to be a bummer for North Park if they leave though.
I mean, it was going to happen sooner or later right? It was my understanding that the Brewery Igniter facility was always a temporary home for the tenants in there, at least until they have the resources to move into their own place.

I'm bummed, but at the same time, I don't go to nearly as many breweries as I used to anyway.

Exactly this. Glad to see they can upgrade their space/capacity. And their Point Loma spot is one of my favorite places in San Diego to grab a beer, have spent much more time there than the North Park location in the last year.

I never go to the NP location as it's a boring place to have a beer. Though I find that true of most tasting rooms...
Parking there is ******* awful too - they might as well not have a parking lot at all.

And yep, another reason why I don't really go to many tasting rooms these days.

How is the parking situation at the Point Loma spot?

If on a weekend..terribad...if on a weekday, not as terribad but still pretty bad. Feels like north park style parking but without the structure.
There's plenty of street parking off Rosecrans or Shelter Island Dr, and then short walk over to their spot. Or grab food at Point Loma Seafoods first and park in their lot, never seen the 1 hr signs enforced.

This is exactly why growler/crowler fill perks have always been a big deal for memberships for me. I could go drink at some off the beaten path oversized warehouse among other oversized warehouses used for all sorts of random businesses... or at home. I'll take my own couch.
