Nano brewer finally learns you can’t make money on a 1 barrel system: https://westcoastersd.com/2018/09/15/bear-roots-brewing-seeking-new-investors/

Especially with the very small profile and cost difference of even a 2 (or 3) barrel system.

And why can? They need to look at their per pint cost and revenue very closely to make sure they are as efficient as possible. Brewing 42 times a month AND only netting 42 barrels of beer is crazy. Each batch is only going to net you $1500 in revenue considering no loss and $6 pints, all sold in house. Now factor in fixed cost, wages, supplies, utilities, taxes, etc., and that per batch revenue needs to get higher.

P.s. 42 batches a month? What are they fermenting in and how many fermenters do they have?

Their beers prices are all $7/$8 pints so I never bothered trying their beers when I used to go there for supplies.

Where can I go today that has wifi, outlets, and beer, and opens before 3pm? ****** weekdays
Small Bar opens early as hell for breakfast - but not sure if they have wifi or outlets. When I was 100% remote, that used to be my morning office of choice.

EDIT: Oh, Young Hickory has all of the above, but they only sell cans.

And they self-value at $800,000. WTF.

So..the thread is quite long now on that other site but I have been reading it each time there is an update. In the pacific forums and the three chiefs brewing thread. Oh man, such a dumpster fire...it is damn hilarious.

This was my first time trying Prince of Dankness, but it’s pretty freaking gross. Wayyyy too sweet. Almost tastes like malt extract. Hopefully it was a canning issue or batch variation or I just got a bad can.
Thanks for being the guinea pig. I was already on the fence due to the $18 price tag, but this isn't a great sign either.

Why the **** did I read that entire thread?

Definitely not what it is supposed to taste like. That beer is on the bitter side of IPAs these days.

The best is that guy who argued against his own quote/post.

I have no idea where to begin with this one. I guess, new boys in town. Artificial scarcity on their bottle release. "Best beer I have ever had!" Discussions of flaws in the beer. 2 BAers basically defending the beer and brewery. Almost everyone else in the thread talking ****. We are now all "peasants". And it keeps up like that for about 3-5 pages.

I would say it is an entertaining morning poop read.

Also, what thread? Don't make me go in there stabbing in the dark.

I said, the three chiefs brewing thread in Pacific forum
