Really bummed I missed out on that. Wonder if I can score some with a monkish 4 pack.
Well, someone that's totally not you just posted that in the SD Trading group. Perhaps if the person who's totally not you manages to close that, you can also get it done.

I’m the last person in the universe to ask about trading Monkish beers or any hazies. Hazy hype has never held any weight for me. I wish it would stop already. Edit: I’ll try it only if it’s super easy to get like the RC Foggy that I am getting from kingg.

I am with you, just happened to be in the area friday and got cans. I don't understand the over valuing of beer but hey more power to the people that do?

I'm straight cash, homie. I can't stand waiting to pay for a bill. Hate it when I have to use my card. Leave cash on the table and walk on your own time is such a great feeling.

Not paying for a single flight in almost two years is a pretty great feeling, too. If credit card companies are willing to firehose points on me, I can stand to wait an extra minute or two every once in a while.

I read and re-read this first sentence over and over to myself, and I kept thinking, "Man, that must be nice being the Modern Times scribe... haven't had to pay for a flight of beer in nearly two years?? Wow. Nice perk. But Xul deserves it for those lovely diatribes of his. Still... what the hell does this have to do with cash vs. credit card usage?"

Credit cards provide points/miles for their use, and paying the off on time means you can accumulate points (and some other benefits as well) which you can then spend on cash back, flights, or hotels.

Credit card use should be returning you at least 2% on your purchases, more if the trips you take are high value redemption.

It's takes more than a.minute or 2 to close out a restaurant tab with a credit card. They present check. Walk away. Grab your card. Walk away. Return your card. With cash, they present check. You walk away. It's a glorious feeling of freedom. It's worth more than 2% of my bill. I don't give a **** about 2%. Give me convenience or give me death.

still failing to see how cash is more convenient. Also I've never been to a bar/brewery where they give you a check, walk away, take your card, walk away, then come back. Usually its 1.hand them my card on my first purchase, they ask open or close I say open. 2.Drink beers and give them my name to pay. 3.Upon purchasing my final beer, I tell the barkeep to close my tab. He/she hands me my beer with my tab I either leave cash for a tip or scribble the ammount on and I am free.

With cash, you have to take out your wallet for every beer.

If you don't have your card ready when they actually bring the check, you're a dipshit who deserves nothing. Also, this is totally different at a bar. It takes literally the same amount of time to pay your tab with cash, unless you've been paying as you go the entire time.

And the beer this year:

Right? Finally a Zwanze beer I am really excited for. Usually I am more stoked for the stuff that comes with the Zwanze

So long as it isn't a sour stout again. While that beer ended up tasting pretty good, it just didn't sound all that appealing on paper. I wouldn't mind a 2014 zwanze again though. That one was quite delicious.

Unfortunately, sour stout was the only year I have gone to a zwanze event. I guess that beer really soured my taste for the whole thing and I haven't wanted to partake since.

You're still at the mercy of the server. And sometimes I like to check the bill before paying. Mistakes happen. Trust me. If you pay every restaurant bill beofore looking at it you've lost more than your precious 2% credit card points are giving you.

Cards at a bar for multiple rounds make total sense. Tab, tab, tab, tab, close is great. We're losing the plot here though... Which I think was the "never cash" people are doing it wrong and are a nuisance for all of those around them. P. S. Don't ever offer to venmo me anything if you owe me money. Give me money if you owe me money you lazy *****.
