TFTI?

But seriously a fire pit and bourbon sounds great, you are living the life.

Bar came way after the show. It's a great place. One of the most underrated in San Diego, in my imo. As good of bar food as you can find. Right up there for best wings, and best cheesesteak in town. Easily my favorite chicken cheesesteak. And yeah, always a great tap list.

I love the Beagle! I used to frequent that place when JEmily lived a block away. Definitely underrated, good food and solid tap list. Plus it is easy to get a game of darts in. The only downside is parking sucks in that general area, but i am sure you north park folks are uaed to that.

They also have a North County outpost called the Regal Seagull with much the same traits: great beer, great food, monumentally ****** parking.

No. No it shouldn't. Ever heard of a chicken fried steak?

Shouldn't it be called a steak fried steak?
What the ****, are you serious? It's called "chicken-fried steak" because it's a steak that's fried like a chicken.

"Chicken cheesesteak" makes no ******* sense - at that point it would just be a chicken melt.

Yeah I know why it's called a chicken fried steak. For the same reasons its called a chicken cheesesteak. It's a chicken sandwich called like a cheesesteak. It's pretty specific. A melt would imply sliced bread of some sort. Chicken cheesesteak is shaved chicken cooked on a flat top with onions and maybe peppers and melted American, Provolone, or Wiz on an Amorosa roll. Very specific way of cooking. More specific than a fry method, in my imo. Besides, "Cheesesteak" is it's own word. It it isn't cheese steak. Or steak with cheese. Or steak with cheese and onions on a roll. When you say the word "Cheesesteak" it has very real and serious implications.

The Beatification was long kicked but there was plenty of good tion and "pub beer" action at O'Brien's tonight. For a brewery that specializes in hoppy and Belgian style beers, RRBC sure makes a killer imperial porter with Shadow of a Doubt. Meanwhile, Temptation, Supplication, Blind Pig and session IPA Ron Mexico were all on point, while this batch of Row 2 is exceptional.

But did they have fresh Tatra?

Beat was available still at opening for about an hour. Might be my favorite batch. Everything on for RR was killer, especially Temptation. Finally got to try a Samichlaus (from 2010). Wow that was good.

The food was delicious as usual. I can’t think of a beer bar with better food. Only regret is not seeing any birthday bacon on the menu. I miss Tyson’s meet (uh heh heh heh).

Don't screw with implications.

Chicken fried steak is such a thing here they have to call the other chicken fried chicken. WTF. It's just fried chicken.

At this point it need to be "Chicken-Fried" (protein). Because the implication. Or maybe it'll be like County Fair food where you deep fry everything sweet.

Went through entire board at Wild Barrel on Saturday with davemont . Definitely check the place if you haven't. That macroon beer is so damn spot on with the flavor and aroma. And don't sleep on the regular Vice base beer.

FIXED IT!

I want cans of that Vice come summer.

I'm sure that will happen at some point.
