It's pretty obnoxious the number of calls these stores receive about that crap. You're most likely getting a random employee, and they probably aren't even checking but rather telling you they aren't getting it. It's Thanksgiving week they have a million other things they can be doing.
This was my thought exactly, considering that these stores basically look like Thunderdome today. I can't imagine they give a **** about any customer phone calls, let alone ones about beer, get much real attention.

The new noodle house had a bunch of goose island on tap yesterday when I went for dinner. I don't know which ones. They were like $10 and $12 per pour?

I mean, it possible that as a market, we just aren't as hungry for that **** as everyone else. We have an embarrassment of riches here - why the **** do we need BCBS?
This. So much! Why the actual **** are people chasing this beer while slaughtering local breweries who sold out? Jesus Christ, be consistent in your disdain and judgment! It's ******* annoying otherwise.

Also, never agreed with Tyrsis!

I guess i am a hypocrite at the other end. Breweries selling out doesn't really bother me and I have no interest in BCBS.

I am disappointed in but was never dead set against selling out. I’ve never sworn off big beer, but I vote with my dollar by investing 99% of the time in craftbeer. I don’t feel bad about that 1% of the time big beer gets my money, especially if it’s for a beer I’ve always loved.

Now, if BCBS became the signature beer for Donald Trump, then I’d have to stop drinking it.

This is the first I'm hearing of it. Think pugsandsuds is just ballsacking us.

Well, going to find out myself today! No problem getting BCBS from Bevmo & Ralphs. Scored a few Barleywines as well (Bevmo La Mesa & Bevmo Mission Valley South). If supplies hold out until 2p, some Bevmos will begin selling with no limit.

Oh ****, didn't know they had barleywines. How many?

The SO is at Costco right now and I think she's striking out.

EDIT: Bevmo website is showing everything out of stock. Just not in the system yet?

Bevmo site only updates once a day. It's not dynamic.
