Vanilla Shake is one of the early pastrystouts, and still one of the few I enjoy. To be fair I thought Maple Vanilla Shake was an IPA like those dumb Milkshake IPAs

The firing sucks, as does the ****** direction of the company, but that doesn't mean I still can't **** with some canned pastrystouts
I can't tell which firing arren and jwacky are referring to. I am almost thinking that arren is going after the Little Miss stuff and then mentioned maple vanilla shake just because the thought crossed his mind but then that lead jwacky to think it was in reference to mikkeller issues.
Edit: Also Happy Birthday Arren
I think you're right? I was definitely referencing Mikkeller in my post. Can't to get my hands on some Maple Vanilla Shake tomorrow. And per that email there is still some Traeblod available for crowler fills. Woohoo, diabetes!!
Yep you're right; it was a reference to me saying the Little Miss situation sucked.I can't tell which firing arren and jwacky are referring to. Though that's essentially what happened with Mikkeller and Bill too, I'm sure.
...ehhhh, define "right reason." My former boss has minority ownership stake in it, and I can tell you "being one of the beacons for the craft beer movement" isn't in their ten-year plan.I talked with Bill a bit last Saturday but decided not bring that up and just about what he's currently up to and how the new project is coming along. The new project will be a 7 barrel system from Premier. He's been helping out Resident, Black Plague (who hopes are in business for the right reason), and I think somewhere else I can't remember.

Yep. According to him Tony Hawk has stake in Black Plague too.Pulling a St. Archer.

Is this still a thing? Seems like that ship has sailed.Yep. According to him Tony Hawk has stake in Black Plague too.
I mean, there's nothing wrong with that right now; from what I can see they still care about putting out a quality product, so it's not that big a deal yet.
I heard that Thr3e Punk Ales is good. Has anyone here checked them out yet? Looking for some more opinions on them.
CA law sadly doesn't allow that.Best part is you can order a beer at Bottlecraft and walk around too. Makes me wish other places would do that.
For example, I know some Whole Foods allow you to order a pint at the bar and walk around while you shop for groceries. I don't think any SD Whole Foods do that, sadly.

Eh.....what I had was basically malty messes that were called IPAs. If this were the midwest and they opened near ThreeFloyds they could compete with Zombie Dust, but here....I dunno. I would give their beers a D+ *needs improvement* parent signature required.
Not arguing your conclusion, but it seems odd to single out hoppy beers on that front. There are a lot of styles that we can reliably get great examples of locally, what makes hoppy beers different as far as your desire (or lack thereof) to try new options?More and more I'm not trying hoppy beers from newer breweries since I know where I can reliably get quality hoppy beers.

Trying anything not hoppy?

Is The Reprobate a new Societe hazy IPA?
i domed a crowler of Traeblood by myself on a whim last Friday.... was pretty tough to work through it solo, very sweet and thick/viscous...
Funny how the same people who say this give Bottle Logic a pass...Basically if they can't brew a clean beer, why would I bother drinking an adjunct-filled mistake?
Really? I thought the general consensus was they make adjunct dessert beers because the rest of their portfolio is mediocre to downright terrible.Funny how the same people who say this give Bottle Logic a pass...
