Wouldn't know since drbenzo wouldn't post a pic the other day.....
I take no responsibility for my actions... I started drinking at 9am... I didn't even remember writing the post after your request... I actually stopped drinking for an hour so after port then sat at my fire pit for a few more Swamis and a cigar... that was my real downfall

Have you tried they're cheese pizza? ******* good

Bought 2 4 packs of Critical Band. Should have bought 1. Smells good, but watery blah. Was never impressed with Aurora but ****, I'd prefer a bland red over this mediocre IPA.

'Head-snapping thunderclap of an IPA'

Does Jacob drink these beers before approving the copy, or he is not involved at all there anymore?

Bummer. Based on the reviews I saw, I was excited to pick some up. I guess I'll grab a taster first before jumping all in, ha.

Game changer! New Crowler machine is up and running

I'm curious to see what they'll make available... hoping for more of the taplist since it's smaller quantity, at least for Vikings. Lots of teases coming from them, typically results in two month old IPA releases available at the same price per ounce as the cans were.

If Traeblood becomes crowerable for vikings, I'll make sure to get you one in case you can't bail from work early enough (this would be after I got myself 3 though. =P)

Oh I will be SURE to be there at open to get mine if that is ever the case! In the mean time, I'll keep asking about Viking fills the second after Nicole posts things in the FB group, haha. Don't tell me to be patient, that word means nothing to me!

So....how about that viking email man? Actual crowlers of Traeblood

jwacky not sure if you are able to make it to Mikkeller to grab those crowlers, but Nicole mentioned in the FB group that they may go down to 1pp tomorrow instead of the 2pp that they are right now.

Abnormal share was lit. I had to leave because I was driving but people were opening insane bottles. Food was tasty as well.

Fomo is real

Did you wear your Abnormal shades :cool::confused:

True story: I walked by the Abnormal booth at the Stone Anny...I went to grab a taster and as I sampled it I noticed a guy with Abnormal gear ...suddenly I recognized his shades from the insta post. I was over come with excitement, and yelled, "hey, are those the sunglasses?!!". The guy gets a big smile and responds equally excited, "yes!" We then both immediately calmed down (I realized I might have seemed like an ******* and I think he realized that as well).

He then, in a very polite manner, said, "they are very high quality sunglasses."

That story gives me butterflies.

Yeah, I hope that guy complaining doesn't ruin it for everyone. I'll probably swing by around lunch today to grab one. Her comment about limiting to one seemed more out of frustration than actually considering it. Either way, one is all I ever really planned on getting anyway. If they make it available once I assume they'll make it available again.

On the Mikkeller topic... had some Passion Pool last night, damn that was good. Reminds me of the fruit heavy, very tart kettle sours coming out of Alvarado Street.

Yeah, just in case she does lower the limit today I went last night and grabbed 2. One for me, and one for a buddy that has been in Pittsburg the past week for less than good reasons. He basically needs a beer....bad.

Also had some Passion Pool last night while chatting with a new face behind the bar at Mikkeller. Her name is Melissa, tiny girl, covered in ink. I guess she also use to work at Ballast Little Italy.

What the bloody **** is Traeblood, and why can I not find any info about it online?

Additionally, crowlers of it still available or is it Viking members only?

Also why the hell do I even care so much about Mikkeller SD's beer?

Listed on various sites as Tree Blood (the correct pronunciation).

Viking members only.

*shrugs* imperial maple stout....pretty damn tasty, especially for the price.

I love it. I really like maple beers, so much that I actually sometimes add Tippleman's bourbon barrel aged maple syrup to stouts.
