So, between all the #talk about acronyms, Aliens, beer, coffee, curmudgeons, Festival of Funk, movies, theaters, and just general hate and discontent, I kind of lost focus.

So...was Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 any good? I was planning to go see it tomorrow night.

I was pretty disappointed with it.

Almost like...providing them like a membership card and turning the money spent into points to climb a ladder for additional goodies. If only they had something like that implemented......oh wait.

Went at 115pm. The place was busy as usual. The line for cans was minimal, so I grabbed some cans and pours of Citrasmella, Everybody's Juicin, and Universal Secret.

All the beers were tasting solid! I'll report back how the cans are.

So, doing my first trade in a while and also sending out a thank you box to someone else (my CCB trustee), so just stopped by Burgeon for the random chance the new beers were still there to go. They are. No lines. This will be a nice surprise.

P.S. Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody is playing. The Gods are smiling upon me.

Toolbox's NE Style IPA "Full Circle" with galaxy hops is pretty solid. The other 2 hazies they had were decidedly less interesting but I did enjoy that one quite a bit. I don't think they have a lot of it left though.

Cracked a Velvet Speedway last night, my last one, damn it is drinking mighty fine. Tasted like a double coffee BASS with a heavy handed pour of vanilla. Not sure how much longer it will last or change in flavors since that JBM coffee seems to not really have as long of a "shelf-life" as say vietnamese.
