Way bigger batch than last year though right? Wasn't last year in that little tank they were using for non-clean beers but this year's was a full batch? I have no real knowledge of this, just what Craig told me last time I was there..

Everyone should keep in mind that although this beer isn't loaded with hops, Berliner Weiss as a style is approaching (or is already at) critical mass in terms of hip popularity, so I would expect a pretty crowded release.

Everyone should keep in mind that although this beer isn't loaded with hops, Berliner Weiss as a style is approaching (or is already at) critical mass in terms of hip popularity, so I would expect a pretty crowded release.

I don't think its even close to its peak yet, which is scary. So few breweries make berliners still, and those that do often make them only infrequently. Just wait....

Hahaha sorry I was talking about the style in general. Not this release. Basically, I think people are going to go more and more and more apeshit over Berliners. No idea about today - I'm stuck up in Mass.

Quick update. I guess the line is moving quick, most people are buying cans only. The line may be entirely inside. I'll be there shortly to see for myself

Line definitely calmed down, I drove by after work and even though the growler line was a respectable length, the can line was short and very fast moving. I was in and out within 5 minutes.

Just a warning to everyone, the 4 pack holders seem to have some sort of issue with reliability this go around. A can fell out of the holder as he was bringing me my 2 four packs, so he went and got me another one. Then a can fell out of the holder in the parking lot and, because I'm dumb, another fell out of the holder at home. Thankfully no beer was lost because cans are the greatest.

Hold them from the bottom!

My wife loved Weiss Trash last summer. Her immediate response tonight was "Exilis is better". I think she's right (WT is pretty good though too).
