Really new to this, happily married and father of one. Work at the local university and are stoked about this new hobby that has caught my attention!!

My friend got me all HOPPED up on brewing talk!! (sorry for the pun I couldnt help myself). A few bucks dropped already and my first official brew day is tomorrow, Im pretty stoked!! To garner a little extra support I took requests from the wifey and she requested something similar to Purple Haze ( I know I know) but its what she wants. So a similar brew will be my first!!! Look forward to being part of such a massive forum of knowledgeable brewers!!
