So my buddy Buddha calls me into his office.

Tells me, "I have a present for us, but we have to split it."

Opens his filing cabinet. He had stopped by a store on his way into the office, and picked up four Stone bombers.

Stone Ruination IPA
Stone 10th Anniversary IPA
Stone Smoked Porter
Arrogant Bastard

"You pick two, I'll keep the other two."

HOW THE HELL DO I CHOOSE? The Ruination, 10th Anni, and Smoked Porter are all on my top-5 list, I *love* Stone. He hadn't tried any of them, but knew I spoke very highly of them.

Since I know he's not as much of a hophead, I took the Ruination and 10th Anniversary. I would have taken the Smoked Porter for variety, but he loves porter and I wanted him to experience it. I also thought the greater maltiness of the AB would be something he'd enjoy...

So, in a strictly platonic way, I love this man...

Should have said "I'll take the top of the bottles you take the bottom!"

Clearly this was a "manvitation" to an evening of drinking.

Three Stones and a Bastard
All four can provide such happiness
They must be split up by two beer lovers
Which beer lover will be blessed

A dilema worthy of Solomon himself.

You should have asked him where he bought them from so that you could pick up a pack of your own and join him for a night of drinking.

And dantodd - FU, man!:mug:

The wise man would have said, "Ahhhh man! I said Stone RIDGE brewery. That brewery sucks. I'll tell you what, give them to me as a gift, and I'll get us a six of some really good beer to drink. Man do you owe me!"
