Yeah, as good as everything else is on the menu, the reub is a solid 6. Too bready (though their bread is really good).

EDIT: most of the time I am there for breakfast and go Grits n bits waffle, but the Detroit st. bagel with lox is A+ too. And breakfast nachos.

what's worth going to in/around Ann Arbor looking eastward. haven't been to Schramm's, presume that is great. Ashley's and HopCat in A2 for sure. Witch's Hat worth it?

If you're going to go to Schramm's, might as well add B Nektar. They usually have many things there that don't see distro and which are comparatively more interesting. Ashley's, in my estimation, is pretty overrated, but there's usually something worthwhile. Hopcat AA is good, but a huge step down from Grand Rapids; not sure how Detroit compares. Depending on what they have on tap (and their website is usually up to date), there's also The Beer Grotto.

witch's hat probably not worth it. nothing else up there and their tap list is rarely too crazy. i love sidetrack in ypsilanti. JP's production spot in dexter usually has 10-15 JP beers on, more than a2 location.

Really? I've hated that place the 2 or 3 times I've been there.

That places smells as bad as the original Kuhnhenn joint, and the ********* quotient is high. The last time I was there, the bottle of Two Hearted they gave me was six months old.

My favorite restaurant around right now. I'm not a cocktail drinker, so I usually opt for $3 Modelos to go with my tasting menu.

Couple of times. Thought it was good, not great. Pricey, I think. Those cilantro potatoes are terrific.

Would be a great hungover breakfast place.
