Got to give props to Kuhnhenn for a pretty well run event today. Showed up after 4 and walked right in, only missed out on DB French Toast. Few of the lines moved pretty slow, but they did a solid job with this one.

Having never attended a Kuhnhenn event prior to Saturday's 15th Anniversary Party, I was prepared for the worst but was pleasantly surprised by how well run it was (aside from a few minutiae complaints).

Only thing we missed out on trying was the double barrel aged French Toast which apparently kicked right before we got in (and we were about 45th or so in line).

Early pours of BA KRE and BA KBE (and the Blueberry got so much better as the keg settled / poured off the initial sediment, really looking forward to the bottles)

Probably about the most crowded I saw the event, and it really wasn't as bad as the picture makes it seem.

The 15L bottle that Frank pulled out for the event, wasn't my favorite mead but was pretty interesting nonetheless.

Reggie Smith and the Afterparty (99% sure that was their name) which was one of the better bands I've seen at a beer event. Great volume, solid songs, good job working with the crowd and kudos to hanging out during the rainstorm as the event wore on.

Not sure how you could have gotten any more value out of those tickets and I didn't even mention the surprise bottle, the food options, or the community kegs of Fluffer and Thumper.

They sell infected beer, don't offer any compensation and in fact give a big "**** you" to purchasers of said beer, then don't make the info for tickets for this year's release known to everyone? Nice operation.

And, because this is beer we're talking about, tickets sell out.

Also heard from a reliable source in the brewing community that they pasteurized everything this time. Which indicates they acknowledge there was an infection issue and have reached total shitlord status. **** 'em.

This is the last brewery I will give another cent to, I'd buy Atwater Vanilla Java Porter before I buy another bottle of their beer. I don't care if they have cleared up their infection issues, they **** on their customers, **** them.
