See folks at brunch. Will head to B Nektar after but not going to be sad if I miss any bottles. Most excited about moar Cherry Chipotle.

Will miss this year. On a side note...visited brothers drake the other day on my way to North Carolina.....we are very fortunate to have schramms and b nektar!

Slows gets a ton of deserved praise but Lockhart's BBQ in Royal Oak is pretty solid stuff as well. Their Mac & cheese shepherds pie which is essentially Mac baked on top of an inch of brisket is killer.

Their weekend brunch is great hangover food.

My favorite thing to get there. How was Score's?

Either this thread is dead or everyone is still recovering from Mead Day!

Went to Schramm's last night for date night and probably got my last glass of Cranberry for a while. Probably won't last much longer - can't believe it lasted this long. That stuff is amazing....and gets better every time I have it. Also got a glass of The Rocket. Madeline is still on tap too but we had to head out for dinner.

Staff was friendly as always...

howdy gang--flavor-of-the-monthing-it here, but did no rules come and go in ann arbor or nearby already? been out of town since the 14th and assuming i missed it but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. loved it at summer beer fest, hoping to grab one.

It hit Oakland last Wednesday and I was told it wasn't supposed to be released by any place before last week but that some shops still sold it early. Might still be hanging around. I know it did not sell out immediately at Holiday in Royal Oak.

Grabbed bottles (a friend and I, one each) on Friday night. Not sure if they are still left now.

I enjoyed it a lot. It's very sweet. 10oz was perfect over an hour. I got a lot of cinnamon and others said none?

Bad: thin and too sweet to even finish the 12oz bottle.

Good: everything else. Tons of flavor!

Could drink one a month tops, there is better around but it's certainly no slouch.

BA hype aside, how is No Rules?
the pours i had were really good. big maple, a kind of nutty/cinnamon thing throughout. a little thin and sweet but that's to be expected. alcohol has zero presence. i was a big fan.

edit: Jb123 clearly had a similar experience. a 12oz bottle is much more appealing.

Yeah a friends lives in GR and Snagged a few for me. 12oz I can do alone...bomber hell no.

Bell's Funvitational list is out on Facebook and probably other sites as well. I don't know how to copy and paste so you are all on your own to find it.
