The other night I got home from the bar and was craving something no bar can provide me. Some delicious EdWort's Apfelwein! Not having any on tap or even brewing for that matter I immediatly jumped online to purchase some corn sugar. I was thirsty and didn't just want to buy a little. I figured I could save by purchasing a larger quanity of corn sugar. In my drunken state I TOTALLY UNDER ESTIMATED how much 50lb of corn sugar was! I now have 3 carboys brewing of Apfelwein and still have more sugar then I know what to do with!

Apfelwein party at my house in a couple months?

Nice work! I woke up one sunday morning and saw an email confirming purchase of 2 secondary regs for my kegerator... They are now installed and they are awesome, but my bank account wasnt very happy about that...

I just bottled my first batch of apfelwein. It was in primary for 6 months 2 weeks! Cant wait to give it a try. When we bottled it, it smelled like maple syrup... Tasted like maple syrup and oak...

Anyways I am looking to use some 5gal buckets from home depot with airlocks to get a few more apfelweins going...

You know, of course, that you don't really NEED corn sugar to make Apfelwein, right? I can't tell the difference between using corn sugar and table sugar; it's all just highly fermentable simple sugars.
