the difference between hop pellets and hop flowers?

I am trying out a Pale Ale recipe and it calls for 2oz of cascade flower hops and 1oz Amarillo flower hops but my LHBS has the cascade flower but not the Amarillo only the Pellets. Can i mixed them?

Yes, you can substitute pellets for whole hops and use both in the same recipe.
