Awesome news for sure, when's the last time you or anyone else has Blend 1? I still have yet to open either..
i put a blend 1 in the fridge that night but we didn't get to it. i'll probably drink it soon. whenever i do, i'll let you guys know how it is. a month ago b1 was not good while b2 seemed like it was almost there, so i might give it a bit more time.

I'm drinking a blend 1 right now and it is way better than just a few months ago. I think it still needs a little time but hopefully not much.

From last years April email

"Fear not, Persica will be released late in the year using COLORADO western slope peaches.. And there will be more barrels of Persica and two different Persica's available for members. One will be the Wild Wild Brett base as the first one was and the second will be L'Brett d'Or base. "

I take that to mean blend one is WWB and blend 2 is l'brett.

gentlemen, i am looking for info on some of the regular release CS stuff from last year. Can anyone tell me how many different batches of hop savant, surette, st. bretta, and NOB came out last year? Also, were there any other beers released that weren't available to CR members besides WWBI/WWBV/walzblood? any help would be appreciated. I started another thread in a drunken stupor and wasn't too clear about what i was asking so i thought i would ask here too. thanks.

Hop Savant versions were 344, 462, and Galaxy.

St Bretta has had four seasons, but Winter came out in 2014.

And here's Zeke's:

You guys are the ******* best. Thanks for all the help. Still trying to work out the batches for vieille and Surette. Does anyone know if batch 2 or batch 7 of Surette or vielle came out in 2013? I know b3 for each was during April, and that b6 was during October. I'm assuming the batch numbering reset with the switch to small bottles.

Also, was there a b3 of the origins?

That looks like a pretty beer. :)

I always wondered why the galaxy hop savant said b3. I've had the other two in the past but always assumed they made more batches. Now I just have to find the 2 experimental varietals.

No on the b3 of Origins. Just two batches so far.

They are on b9 of Surette. I don't think this is the 3rd batch this year so I would assume b7 was 2013 but as my wife likes to point out, I'm usually wrong.

Batch 7 Surette was definitely 2013

Just want to give you local dudes a heads up, we have re-opened the old taproom at the Barrel Cellar for limited hours. Friday 4-8pm and Saturday 12-8pm. During CBC we'll be open extended hours for industry folks and tours too. See ya's there!

so i have heard some rumors about there being another WtF later this year to again coincide with gabf. have any of you fine folks heard anything along those lines?

I'd recommend XXL. I clock in at 230 and their XL sweatshirt from 2013 fits appropriately (PM me for pics bro). Sweatshirts and long sleeves don't always fit the same, but if XXL is too large initially, it will probably shrink after washing.

Crooked Stave Persica Blend #1

It's really cleaned up into a fantastic beer. The butter/diacetyl (I'd opened both blends shortly after release and thought both were practically undrinkable) is all gone, at least in this bottle. Very mild funk, but lots of juicy, crushed peach. Fantastic!
