They haven't used it. Heard the floor was uneven so they don't want to brew anything there until that is fixed.
You'd think they would take care of this before moving in all the equipment...

I think it took until about mid-March last year to hear anything. Patience is a virtue. The beers will be great!I would have expected an update by now on the first release...
Dont worry they are just waiting for the Diacetyl to clear up before the release the bottles.I would have expected an update by now on the first release...
My sarcasm meter is broken. I imagine this is actually a reason for any potential delay.Dont worry they are just waiting for the Diacetyl to clear up before the release the bottles.
It was citrusy (Grapefruit and Orange) and a slight tart finish. Thought it was pretty good. Bought some to drink after tasting it at the taproom. Didn't buy any to cellar.i know it isn't a cellar reserve beer but has anyone tried the fluxus?
They said they thought towards the end of March would be the first release
Colorado hasn't slowed down on the releases this year. Got 3 coming up this Sunday.I don't anticipate getting any of them in my hands until May at the earliest so I am good waiting as long as we need to. My bank account appreciates the lack of beer related activity
My statement was based on my conversations with themMy email said beginning of March:
"Although we have not figured out an official release schedule just yet, we are hoping to have the first release sometime at the beginning of March!"

Just to be clear there were 7 different versions in the WWB ROYGBIV series in addition to Batch 1 so in total 8... so having the WWB name doesn't necessarily mean it's flavor profile and ingredients are akin to Violet.
WWB old up pretty well. Batch 1 is drinking fantastic.
Costly trade now but track down a Batch 1i opened a WWBV last month too and it was ******* amazing. it was great fresh but it was way better already, wish i had more to age long term. that's the best beer i've had from CS for sure.
Interesting. I've never seen a c&c wwbv. The only c&c CS brew I can think of was the first batch of bourbon NoB. Who knows though. Maybe they ran out of caps and corked some WWBV.Related... that WWBV that was shared with me was corked and caged. Had no idea they even existed, thought they were all capped. Anyone have any insight into that? Was it part of the run, a one-off for experiment/giggles, something else?
out of curiosity, how have the other WWB's held up over time? tried a batch 60 the other day and it blew my mind. i'm wondering if any bottles i have should be consumed immediately or if they will hold onto that magic for a little while or a long while?
Chad explained this at one point. It's a gusher b/c there are a lot of nucleation sites in the beer. It was at a point when he was trying to get the beers done as "fast" as he could and didn't crash the beer for long enough. Yes, it's over-carbed but I don't think it will be a bottle bomb. He also mentioned that it's more of a gusher at higher altitudes...lets have a beach party?wwbo- (drink these now, the bottle was a crazy gusher)

*This is how I understand it, if anyone has other information, please add.
I have the entire ROYGBIV and will be opening them soon. But the last time I had WWBG it was very plastic-y, not pleasant at all. But will take notes when I open the spectrum.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯I live 4 feet below sea level. I hear what you are saying, but it took us 25 minutes of letting the carb out little by little to not loose 1/2 the bottle. So, at least in my case I think it could have been a bottle bomb before too long.
