I’m thinking of driving up to Weldworks this weekend since the wife is out of town.

Oh, how I’ve fallen when a trip to Greeley is all I can muster when I’m alone for the weekend.

It's been raining fresh Juicy Bits cans all over town. I'll be lucky to muster a trip to my mailbox this weekend.

You worked there!!!

Lets do that!

I've created a monster

Ok I'll be in Denver memorial day weekend.

My parents are heading through Denver and staying near Congress Park. Any good BBQ and Mexican restaurant recommendations in the vicinity would be much appreciated. Thanks all!

No BBQ near there that I go to. Closest would be Brother's. It does in a pinch but certainly not the best around. With that this place does BBQ right near there but I've never had it so I can't say one way or the other: http://www.denverbarcar.com/

New Taco place opened right next to Cerebral. Haven't gone but the place seems to be packed. I always go here for Tocos http://tacostequilawhiskey.com/ which isn't that far away.

Wife likes this Mexican place right down the road on Colfax http://www.7leguasmexicangrille.com/

You didn't ask but:
Great Thai place: https://www.thaipotcafe.com/
Pretty good Korean BBQ: https://www.daegee.com/ right on Colorado and 7th.

I have to check that Thai place out next time I’m in Denver. Been craving some Thai food lately

How is Broomfield?

I’ve got the option to do a 2 or 3 day training for work this summer and one of the locations is Broomfield. I love Colorado but wasn’t sure if Broomfield would be a Office building supburb type town (which is common for my company).

Basically, I’m trying to tie this training into a little fun. Maybe tack on an extra day of free time. I’ll most likely only be Ubering around during the trip.

Broomfield is exactly as you've described.

There is some cool stuff closeby though and 4 Noses is in Broomfield.

Lafayette is close and you've got Odd 13 and Romeros is a killer taphouse. Plus Stubs

My wife works in Broomfield. Bunch of nothing.

But you could hang out with me and Stubs

That would be reason enough for me.

I’ve actually decided to hit a course in Chicago. I’m definitely wanting to do a training/visit to Broomfield but I need to make it a time when I can extend the trip a few days to include PTO and spend time around Denver and Boulder.

We really didn't want you to visit anyways.
