Can’t believe I was able to snag this one used today. And the blue/white colored version. This album is, to me, better than anything that Animal Collective ever did, Sung Tongs included. Fite me.

Beer is more Heist. This much better than the last.

It’s up there, for sure. I was lucky to see AC in Big Sur in college, and they opened with Comfy in Nautica. Blew my mind. After the show they were all hanging out and I got to talk to Avey for about five minutes just fanboying out. Top ten concerts for me.

Good Girl / Carrots from about the 4 minute mark on is my favorite from Person Pitch.

******* embarrassed AF that the remainder of my CCR collection consists of this ****** comp. How have I passed over countless inexpensive masterpieces? ripps1, I promise I will correct this.

Those old Creedence records came from my uncle. He had a nice vinyl collection that I now have. Found out a few years back that he used to grow a shitload of pot back in the 60’s.

Every time I look through his records I can just picture him rolling joints on top of the record cover and listening to some great music.

Album is Shiny and oh So Bright by The Smashing Pumpkins which just came out. It's about what one would expect...not bad, but it lacks the punch that the Pumpkins had pre-breakup. Mostly got it because Jimmy and James were back on board for this one and the Pumpkins portion of our collection is probably the most "impressive", for lack of a better term, so I couldn't resist.

Probably it from me today, before I get drunk and post a lot of 2008 releases tomorrow.

Ty Segall’s buddy, who opened for him when I saw ty and white fence recently in LA, fronts this band. And when I first heard the lead tracks of this album, they blew me back and I bookmarked it, but I was so overwhelmed with my discovery of King Gizz at that time that I lost track. Recently found it used and it’s better than I would have hoped. Just really really ****** up beatles ****.
