On a HWM bender these past couple weeks. I blame PurityControl88. Wonderful album here on marbled redish wax. Beer is from Brew Gentlemen. Their anniversary beer IV. Have heard this record a million times and have consumed the beer merely once - can’t decide which is the highlight of the current experience. beer + vinyl for the win fam.

We'll find our own way home. Sing out every song we know. No one can keep us down. Who gives a **** what anybody says, we'll live and love until we're dead, holding on to what we've come to know. And on and on and on and on and every time you hear this song be sure, you're not alone.

You ever have one of those days when a brewery announces a new beer and posts the label and you just think to yourself "man, I know exactly what record to pair that with!" Well, this is the result of one of those days.

They're coming through in Sept, I should probably go. I haven't seen them since they were with the Melvins. Seeing Crover and Willis both behind drum kits for a set is an experience.

I really enjoyed the beer, though flavorwise it isn't the same vein as a lot of NEIPAs I've had, which is a good thing. It had more of an earthyness to it which I enjoyed. It's a fantastic change from the oniony mosaic beers that a lot of places have been pushing out over the past year, that's for damn sure.

Probably my last record before I get to go watch the Buccos get smacked around by the Dodgers for the third day in a row.

Zero ***** what anyone says - this is peak Tweedy for me. Back-to-back-to-back summers at the Three Rivers Arts Festival I believe? Right around the YHF, Ghost Is Born, Sky Blue Sky years. Those are the best for me. Also, probably my favorite day drinking music!

Had to save the last 7/4 Enjoy By for today...
