Has the alchemist ever done a barrel aged stout?

I think the closest they've done was the original batch of Luscious in 2011, which had a portion aged in oak.

They posted something on social media about sending some pallets of both to San Francisco for a limited engagement or something. I don't think it's anything that will be ongoing, but I could be wrong.

Probably not. They send some to Philly and they get sold out of distributors just like normal beers.

Oh I was just using that as an example of a different market not doing it that way, but you're right I could easily be wrong. Also I wouldn't pay $10 a can for it. What a rip.

We've been seeing it distro'd randomly in the Buffalo area for on site consumption only. It's legit distro though since we see at Wegmans and all the usual bars with good beer.
