I'm in Texas, but I haven't seen it yet. When I do, I will buy it. I always try to support local meaderies. As long as the mead doesn't suck.

Better brewing through science!

Found it at Spec's today. At ~$16 it's a little pricey for what I'd normally spend, but I do like supporting Texas craft beverages, so what the hell. Can't drink it tonight as I have to get up early tomorrow, but I'll report back later this week.

Apparently Twin Liquors stocks it as well.

I've at least sampled most of the Texas meads. That Traditional is a good one. The name suits it.

We've a bottle of their raspberry melomel in the fridge. My wife really likes it because it tastes like honey and real raspberries, not cheap boozy Kool-Aid.

Drank it last night.

Hints of mango hops, horse blanket, pine, slightly burnt biscuit, dark chocolate, grapefruit, and none of those things I just mentioned.

I don't know. I liked it, probably the best commercial mead I've tried, insofar as I haven't tried very many. Not sweet at all, but still had a distinguishable honey flavor to it, unlike other dry meads I've tried that just taste like white wine or paint thinner. Very smooth, went down dangerously fast. Wish the overall flavor was just a tad stronger, it's very subtle.

That is not at all what I tasted, perhaps I got a bad bottle. Maybe ill hafta try it again

My wife and I love their meads. Been there twice now. Im actually on here looking to make a batch of melomel because of the bottle we drank from there last night.
