So I recently purchased my first co2 tank and taprite regulator, getting ready to keg for the first time. I've read that I should test the regulator for leaks by closing the valve that goes to the keg and turn on the tank and see if it maintains the same psi over an hour or two. So today I did my test and after a few hours the psi went from 20psi to 19psi. Is that normal or is this a problem? Thanks so much in advance for your help.

I would run that same test overnight, that will tell you more. If during the time of your test the temperature dropped a few degrees, that can explain the loss of one PSI. An overnight test will make any temperature related fluctuations more or less irrelevant. If you leave it overnight and your PSI was down to say 15 PSI, then you most likely have a leak.
