Looking for feedback/advice on the recipe I put together for an attempt at a Ten Fidy clone

5.5 gallon
OG: 1.100
IBU: 54
SRM: 45
Estimated Efficiency: 70%

14 lb Pale Malt (2 SRM) 63.6%
2 lb Munich Malt (10 SRM) 9.1%
1 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt (120 SRM) 4.5%
1 lb Chocolate Malt (350 SRM) 4.5%
1 lb Caramalt (15 SRM) 4.5%
1 lb Roasted Barley (300 SRM) 4.5%
2 lb Oats (1 SRM) 9.1%

1.00 oz Magnum 60 minutes
.75 oz Magnum 30 minutes

WLP001 California Ale

Any feedback is appreciated

Here is the recipe I was given by the brewer who developed this for Oskar Blues. The hops are off, so you'll need to adjust for the proper IBUs.

Ten Fidy

Mash temp 148F
9# (40.5%) Rahr 2-row
3.6# (16.2%) Weyerman Munich Light
2.6# (11.7%) Flaked Oats
1.75# (7.8%) Simpsons Cara Malt 30L
1.75# (7.8%) Simpsons Chocolate
1.75# (7.8%) Crisp 77L
1.75# (7.8%) Simpson Roasted Barley

1.35 oz Northern Brewer 90min
1.80 oz Liberty 25min
0.50 oz Columbus 10min

Yeast 1056 American Ale

You're not too far off, need to adjust ratios a bit.

Thanks for the response. I had actually based my recipe off of a recent email response from Oskar Blues head of brewing operations. Now I’m a scratching my head.

The guy I got it from originally developed the recipe. He is no longer at OB, so they may have made some changes. If that is what they sent you, then I'd say go with that as it will match the current recipe OB is using.
