I want to use my second kegerator as a fermenter chiller, since the hot weather is about to be here. I wont have my AC on for a few more months and figure it may be cheaper to jsut use the one empty kegerator I have to hold my primary during fermentation. I am going to swing by the store tonight and get some thermometers and see if I can get the fridge to stay at or around 65 degrees without a controller, but has anyone else ever done this before without a controller? Thanks in advance.

Most fridges can't maintain 65F without help, unless they are old and inefficient. The controls are designed for the 30-50 range. So, stick a bucket of water in your's and see what it can do.
