Hello all I just got my hands on a glastender kc-24 model and was wondering what is the best temp controller to use. I have a inkbird 308 I use for my heat wrap for fermenting was thinking of getting another one of those.

I also noticed that it doesnt seem to shut off or maybe I wasn't catching it at the right times, I plugged it in and use the inkbird temp probe to get a reading of #1setting (goes up to 7) and plugged in over night it went from 65F down to 39.7F. Like I said not sure if it ran all the time or not the mesh cage in the back was alittle warm but not hot, i could hold hand on it. Round cylinder that has my r134 sticker on it was really hot but I'd expected that.

Just comes down to if it doesnt have to run all the time why would I need it too. I'll attach photos of it. Thanks I'd advance

I use an Inkbird 308. I have five of them. :) One on my keezer.

Just turn the kegerator to as cold as it goes, and let the Inkbird turn the unit on and off as needed. I keep the probe in a jar of water so that it's not turning on and off so frequently.

Make sure the compressor delay is 3 minutes or more. I believe they come at 3 minutes for default.

Yea I'm going to use to to serve my home brew, I just thought it was odd that the warmest setting got the temp down to 39.7F according to my inkbird. That's why I didn't think it ever shut off lol

Found a manual online for a newer model but basically the same thing as mine from them. Looks like warmest setting is 40F and coldest is 32F. My inkbird read 39.7F so that seems right.
