SWMBO not so pleased with apfelwein in bedroom..

So in between brews i decided to ferment an apfelwein in the bedroom closet due to perfect ambient temp.Last night around 12:00 am a rhino decided to blow some gas and some one was not pleased.Sure hope this one dies down soon or else the doghouse is in my near future.

Some yeasts throw off foul smells when fermenting, referred to as rhino farts. He was fermenting in the master bedroom pissing of his wife with the smells

But yeah, brewing in the bedroom is a good way to get the hobby banned domestically.

Putting fermenters in the bedroom is awesome. Falling asleep to blurp...blurp...blurp is fantastic. Instead of counting sheep, I count my beautiful yeasies dutifully doing their work.

But not Apfelwein. That goes into the room furthest from the bedroom. It can be nasty for a few days.

wine yeast is much more temp tolerant than beer yeast. I am sure you could find another spot for it.
